wild {unknown} friday

This weeks randomly drawn card for the upcoming week is Justice. This card is the epitome of fairness and balance. The two cats depicted on the card mirror each other and both have the seed of the opposite within them, just like the principle of yin/yang.

So, this is definitely a week to engage the head rather than the heart and really think through any decisions that need to be made in terms of fairness, truth, equality and lack of bias.

The use of black and white on this card emphasises that we should consider nothing but the bare facts of a matter….no emotions, no distractions and no embellishments.

I also find it interesting that cats have been used by the artist to represent the concept of justice. This seems fitting as cats have an ‘aloofness’ which is required in a good judge. This card also addresses the idea of karma and cause and effect. We reap what we sow and there is a consequence…..good or bad, for every action. So with this card we need to look to past actions to see how they may be causing what we are experiencing now. The cats gazing back at us over their shoulders echo this and call us to account.

Sometimes decisions need to be made even when there isn’t a clear cut black and white answer. This card counsels that for true justice to be done we need to take account of all the nuances and complexities of a situation.

So, this week make sure that you consider all the pros and cons of a situation and weigh things up carefully and impartially before making any important decisions so that they don’t come back to bite you further down the line when Universal balance is restored!
